You really are a true believer in some weird shit. Joe Biden has more to do with the failing banking system than almost anyone: a) devaluing the dollar by deficit spending on the military and US wars that are failing and that now threaten a nuclear holocaust, b) being a key driver of the financialization of the US economy by his nepotistic and corrupting history with the credit industry, and c) proclaiming a recovery while risk increases and ordinary people are getting wrecked by inflation, d) blowing up a pipeline partly owned by Germany while German Industries are in trouble e)supporting the 2008 bank bailout against the wishes of 80 % of citizens accross both parties thus keeping real estate prices artificially high for the investor class.

90 percent of the loans on the failing banks were not FDIC insured. 56 % of the SVB loans were for venture capital enterprises. One of the millionaires bailed out was CA governor Gavin Newsom. Today Yellen admitted that smaller banks that fail will probably not get bailed out. This is a shit show and nobody knows where it will go; banks still have huge vulnerability to the multi trillion dollar derivatives market. Many countries are fleeing the dollar.

Everything in the US is about protecting the rich. That is not saving the economy , that is keeping the bribes flowing in to the "Political” Parties so they will do the oligarch’s bidding instead of serving the people and the vulnerable. Major “campaign” money went to Dems from SVB, just as major campaign funds went to Dems from FTX( I despise both parties). All this while Palestine Ohio drowns in a horrifying mix of toxic sludge right after Biden turned down better safety controls on trains which unions were fighting for. He also just announced more drilling in Alaska, breaking campaign promises. The problems in Jackson MI and Flint and dozens of other places remain with no serious remediation. So we are in for more flooding, more extreme storms, more war dead, more train derailments, and the gap between rich and poor gets more extreme. And you whine because Hersch once again exposed a US war crime without even consulting his old lawsuit fighting buddy Mark. Might be time to come back to the real world, Mark Kohut.
