One's whole geopolitical "understanding" is shown to be so false all
conspiracy paranoia should cease...but then we have what
TRP sez in GR, "something worse, where nothing connects to anything" which
the mind cannot take...so we cling to something like
Pincher Martin on his rock......wanting it to stand for far more than it
does because it is all we have......

A previous Ukraine failed at something let's grant, therefore Russia's
actions are right, goes the existential bad faith "reasoning" when
all reporting, even the OSCE recognizes Ukraine's violated sovereignty and
Russia's crimes.

"Eight years of shelling", right, a Trump or DeSantis-like lie by
compressed simplicity and by ignoring, when there was shelling, whether it
was
just shelling. There are just and unjust wars. WW 2 and the Invasion of
Ukraine are just. US involvement in Vietnam as all of Germany's warring
from the thirties was not.

Thomas: as the cliche goes Hindsight is 100%. Consider after what has been
revealed in actions and even just in the aggressive imperial = fascist--
words of Putin himself who you are still aligning yourself with re Crimea
and the Donbas....
