GR translation: feathering out like trailing edges of hawks’ wings

Since the reference is to hawks wings I would say, as Marks’ reference photos indicate, eyebrows that spread and extend out at the tips ( toward the ears).  There may be a perfect word in Chinese, as Taoist masters are sometimes pictured with extended eyebrows and there are qigong exercises where you brush your eyebrows and imagine them extending out.. The term ’to feather out ‘ is also used in art referring to spreading out paint with a brush to where it  gets fuzzy and disappears.
