China Mieville -Embassytown

A post here got me interested in China Mieville so I'm most of the way through Embassytown. Addiction to lies destroying a world?  His writing is a bit murky for my taste but  then so is the real world, or whatever this is called. Anyway  the politics and  accompanying human  and non-human behavior  are relevant (mostly to contemporary  humans)  and well done.  Anyone else read this?
