Saint Hubert of Liège (c. 656–727) is primarily renowned for his conversion after seeing a crucifix between a stag's antlers while hunting. As a saint, he is associated with miracles including curing rabies (hydrophobia) via the sign of the cross, exorcising demons, and guiding conversions, making him the patron of hunters, dogs, and metalworkers.
