And then saw it appear everywhere.......

In my second childhood, that is happening to me (as I've posted before)
with the word "shadow" because of the great Pynchon's newest.

Here is one of the recent ones:
Nicolás Maduro has been nominally in charge since 2013, but Venezuela’s

more about the shadow alliances that sustain it.
"Only the Shadow Knows' as that, what, radio show had it in Pynchon's
youth.?(I don't remember ever hearing or seeing it but I am old enough to
remember when this list talked about it. )

Hey, this is still the international PYnchon list, right? And it is a new
year,correct? And there has been a new Pynchon novel published, yes? And
this list is where the best Group Reads of
PYnchon have happenedm yes? (although I see a guy named Severs and others
are holding Reads in podcasts and on YouTube and maybe FAcebook.....

But, I'm gonna see who's with me...Lotsa newbies and lurkers, right...

So, I want to start a simple (even simple-minded) Group Read. Shadow Ticket
at only ten pages a week....

The "Rules" are very simple....choose to be a Host if you want----I will
send around some kind of calendar with pages.....
but if not, contribute if you want....as close to that wonderful metaphor
in ATD of picking your own T--shirt out of the pile--closest
you'll come to (real) anarchy 'round these parts.....a self-organizing Read.

I'll try for the first post within a day or so.....it will count for this
week since it seems best to break into weekend starts because weekends
are still freer for many than weekdays.....Idea: let's let the weekend days
be overlapping pages....so someone can get their stuff down if they;ve had
a busy week and
the new host---or me---can start the next ten.......

There are no stupid thoughts, but if there are, they don't have to be
noticed.  All noticings count. All allusions to other P works wanted. Any
research accepted. All opinions challengeable. All opinions wanted.
