Everytime I hear the word ticket like this, I think of Ticket to Ride.
Which is almost free allusive association but the novel is quite a ride,
in happenings and time....

The Bela Lugosi quote from the epigraph seems like a typical enough Pynchon
joke about ambiguous meaning.
About never being able to rule out something meaningful beyond
material-only baloney...Our meat world as
MIchael McClure and others have said? Baloney. ...That possible trembling
"Word" in Lot 49....
