is in on something?....a paranoia line?....or collusion of EVERYBODY
(beyond familiarity)

And TRP is either playing ironically with us or he thinks there IS "deep
mischief" ---the depth solving a mystery shows? ..And another layer of
meaning?

near to it. ?

The language of violence....an echo of one of P's fave notions, non-violent
'anarchism'....which was contained in the original meaning of anarchism...
then got turned 180* when some anarchists DID bomb ....Sacco & Venzetti

And bombing matters a lot in all of Pynchon.
