Parallels? probably not. But then, as someone said, "Everything Connects."
And Gravity doesn't seem to discriminate.

So, you may have noticed that, for example, the landfills are nearly full,
even as cruise ships- the size of small cities- are packed with partygoers,
who might not even actually know they're on the water, until it's time to
disembark. You might also have heard that there have been several new
species of animals- cats and alligators, e.g., that are scientists/naturalists
are surprised to have been discovered recently.

All of this comes to mind of something known as "Complex Systems Collapse,"
or, "Societal Collapse," or maybe "the Red Queen Hypothesis."

Basically, without too much effort, it's becoming apparent that humankind,
or civilization in general, is in trouble.

But don't let me bring you down. Each has their own V2 aimed at the tip
of their head- It's just a matter of time. (Maybe Ms Pike has had two... so far.)
