Pynchon clones

Maybe this has been talked to death before I came on board (or in _Pynchon 
Studies_ or _MFS_ or somewhere else), but what about . . . Richard Powers? 
  As a P-clone, he's pretty darned good (especially in _The Goldbug 
Variations_).  Has anyone ever seen a picture of this guy?  The hardcover 
jackets I've seen for his various novels don't have any bio info at all (I 
don't have the American edition of _Three Farmers on the Way to a Dance_).
