Apologies to everybody's who's seen this before.
Tim May's mention of Holy-Grail-Approaching (the hyperRainbow) prompts me
to mention a most unworthy first step in that direction, Hyperbola, which I
built in HyperCard 1.x five years ago. It's basically a big set of
excerpts with a fairly clunky front end for annotations and yes, hypertext
links. It could be done much better in the newer HyperCard (2.2, just out)
if anybody's game to try.
And of course, it would be great to have full text of the novel... but
THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL...
Anyway, if you're not one of those people to whom I have mailed copies of
Hyperbola, you can get it by anonymous ftp from ftp.gatech.edu.
If you have questions or problems getting the stack, contact me directly
(sm51 at prism.gatech.edu).
