Now everybody

I've been trying to track down
information/criticsim about Richard Farina &
Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up To Me. Thus
far, Pynchon's intro to Farina's novel has been
the most rewarding source. Where do I go next?

If anyone out there knows anything about Farina
or can provide me w/ bibliographical materials, I'd
be most grateful to ya. I'm particularly interested
in his political involvement w/ the IRA & in Cuba, &,
of course, his relationship w/ Pynchon at Cornell.

Would Cornell's library have any of his personal papers
or anything of the sort?

I'm hoping to learn more about Farina's revolutionary
experiences & how they might have manifested themselves
in Been Down So Long... which I think is a great book
with which to compare Vineland b/c of their subverted
revolution themes. (My undergraduate
senior thesis was a start at this.
I'm now in grad school &
hope to do more with this topic).

Any advice, comments?
