Amazingly, _The Forbidden Forest_ has been translated into English and has
been out for fifteen years - done by Mac Linscott Ricketts and Mary Park
Stevenson 1978.  Even more amazing is that my old school published it:
University of Notre Dame Press.  Then again, they DO specialize in very
obscure books which occassionally turn out to have exceptional merit or 
importance.  This is not a reflection on the school, however.
