I think Andrew Dunn misses the point. But this is really
addressed to Alec McHoul and John Krafft. I went home and
got my old paperback of Farina; I suppose that many people
on the list have the same edition, but for those who have
never seen it. It has a cover illustration by Chereskin,
featuring a photo of a black and white naked blonde lady
with her hair tied back in a black headband, holding in the
palm of her hand a drawing of a young man with a backpack,
very Kerouacian. Three other colored drawings surround the
lady, one of a couple hugging and kissing, another couple
talking, he with his arm around her, and another of three
figures, one with a stand-up bass. The back cover includes
a Pynchon blurb: "Hilarious, chilling, sexy, profound,
maniacal, beautiful and outrageous...all at the same time."
The book is the first Dell printin, June, 1967. It's a
          beaut for sure. Bob Fuhrel
