As most of you probably know, some of the lyrics in Nirvana's "Smell's
Like Teen Spirit" may have been derived from a song in Gravity's
Rainbow (Viking ed. pp. 538-39). Does anyone on the list know if Kurt
Cobain ever talked about having read Pynchon, or was this similarity
discovered by someone else?
I'd appreciate any information on this anyone might have.
