I belong the the Phil Dick discussion group, and its messages
have been arriving interspersed with the TRP ones, promoting
a sometimes head-spinning juxtaposition.  Recently, someone
on the PKD list mentioned a movie "The President's Analyst"
starring James Coburn circa 1967 in which "the telephone company
was at the heart of a conspiracy."  Relevance to Lot 49?
For a while, Steve Erickson was doing a column for US edition of 
_Elle_ ashion magazine, reporting on LA scene, but I haven't 
spotted it in the last few issues.
