As Mr. John Krafft has convincing demonstrated, to wit:
Let's see:
On page 463: "He knows he's vulnerable...to pretty little
girls...Bianca's a knockout, all right: 11 or 12, dark and lovely."
I'll bet this doesn't clear it up.

It doesn't: that's just how Slothrop percieves her. But we know she must
be older than Ilse, whose conception was inspired by her (Bianca's)
conception;
and Ilse was a babe in arms in 1930, or before 1930, when Peter Sachsa
was killed. The scene on the Anubus occurs in 1945. Q.E.D.??
John
PS: Pass it on, with comments, if you like.
COMMENTS:
Sachsa is killed in 1930 (p.152)
Ilse is a baby prior to Sachsa's death, to wit:
"Ilse is awake, and crying. [...] They ought to try Peter's after all."
(p.163)
And yes, Bianca is conceived when Greta is ravaged during the filming of
_Alpdrucken_: "I think Bianca is [Schlepzig's] child. She was conceived
while we were filming this." (p.395)
Ilse is conceived while Franz Pokler is making love (!) to Leni with
visions of _Alpdruken_ in his head. (p. 397)
And Bianca IS on the Anubis in 1945. Yes?
Ergo: Bianca's 15 or so. (Nice try, Slothrop.)
Well, that "proves" it. I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel a
whole lot better.
Thanks John.
