I would disagree with your sound alike totalities.  Although your
folk-con conditional reaction is likely well grounded - but perhaps
better unplugged.  If you can equate AO, ATP, and GR as if by synonyms
and antonyms, then Pynchon, too, can be so totalized by choice of
correct mappings to equated grounds.  Wittgenstein is likely to take
most hits on the head under such equalizing sound alikeness.
