Greetings, all!

	I was wondering about all of the musical references in V. -- not just
the songs, but the African polyrhythms, recurring jazz players, et al --  does
anyone have any hypotheses concerning TRP's motives here??  Has anyone read
anything that does??  Is it possible to construe these references as a reminder
of the Dionysian (a la Nietzsche) forces that overwhelm the characters and
plot??  Just wondering....!!!
