Vineland vs V

OK, so I only read Vineland one time and V a zillion.  I still
can't let someone call V a mess and not respond.  I wouldn't
want to rank the non-GR Pynchon novels, but I have a warm
place for all of them in my heart, even Vineland, even V.
As recently as a couple of years ago when I re-read V I was
still impressed with it.

  Having just finished V for the 4th or 5th time, I wish to say that
such a slam on V places me in the very highest dudgeon!
  (I'd like old Tom to do a work on the HAZMAT tech industry....take up
where IMIPOLEX left off....).

  & I'm about to read VINELAND for the second time.....
