For the record: I am not Chuck Hollander

Charles Hollander is alive and well and living in Baltimore, and he is 
entirely capable of and responsible for writing his own letters--including 
the two I posted _for him_ to the Pynchon list.  Those letters were addressed
to me, but they contained a more far-reaching challenge, which I helped 
publicize.  I offer this clarification because several subscribers
to the list seemed to have the impression I was the author rather than a
target of Chuck's letters.  And now, I'm told (my copy hasn't arrived),
the _AVA_ has just published one of Chuck's letters in a form that might give
the same wrong impression.  1) Let's give credit where credit is due.  2) For
what it's worth, I haven't made up my mind about the WT letters yet.
