If the transcript I found is reliable, the segment ended as follows:

Susan Reed:   Making Anderson even more controversial, he says the paper 
received 75 letters from the reclusive novelist Thomas Pynchon signed by 
a local bag lady.

Bruce Anderson:   Pynchon was the only person capable of doing that.

Susan Reed:   A controversy sure to make the _Anderson Valley Advertisor_
even more controversial.


That's it, apparently.  Not a word about Wanda being the Unabomber, or 
about Bruce's editorials really being by Chuck Hollander.
