Another interesting author in the metafiction line
is Charles Palliser. The latest book, _Betrayals_ is a
Nabokovian sundae...an earlier work _The Quincunx_ is Ch.
Dickens on steroids. I spent a sleepless two days reading
the latter....you just want the bad guys to gettheirs SO
BAD...
