Metzger's misplaced submarine

I've just been reacquainted with COL49, and Metzger's movie scene has 
me wondering if it was perhaps dropped from GR. Consider the parallels 
with GR's Oven theme; A child of indeterminate sex dies in a cramped 
machine of war. This matches more with the Oven than with Oed's 
Rapunzel's theme. The following drunken sex scene also has some 
parallels with Tyrone and Katje in the Casino, but barely worth mentioning. 

I'm away on business, and the only TRP I have with me is COL49, so any 
references to GR may be a little hazy.
