Pynchon letters and AVA?

That being the same Alexander Cockburn who Jeffrey St Clair mentioned
as an old buddy in his first note to the group? Perhaps JSC could let
us know if Pynchon is up on Brit-speak? I agree with him that Wanda
Tinasky is a *character* and I'll buy the book if it ever comes out
(asuming that overseas subscriptions are not an option).
