Pop goes the V-2:  I'd place my bet on which rocker will next
use a Pynchon ref on someone lit'rit such as that ex-English
teacher, Sting.  After all, he's already reffed Nabokov in
"Don't Stand Too Close"
Putter-inners:  Aren't we groping in the dark if we don't use
the accepted terminology "minimalist" and "maximalist", which
says it all?
Pynch-alikes:  I know Richard Powers has been cited on this list
and thought folks should know of his new novel (unread yet by
me) GALATEA 2.2.
