Musicians Friend

A while ago someone wrote that he/she received a catalog entitled "Musician's
Friend." Well, I also receive the same catalog-- and their new issue just
arrived. To confirm his/her story, there is a person there who does reviews
of new music gear by the name of "Zoyd Wheeler"-- I called. And to add a
little spark to the fire, when I asked about the name and Pynchonian
reference they said they didn't know for sure but assumed it was a psuedonym.
They also said it was a matter around there that was "top, top, secret." Who
knows? The guy (Brian) may have been pulling my chain, but at least it was a
fun conversation.
