In addition to the info on the Interstate system, don't forget FEMA (Federal
Emergency Management System) which has always been thought to have emergency
plans for rounding up dissidents and minorities in the event of a " National
Emergency."  I think this is the real life model for FEER.  There are many
frightening stories about their nefarious plans; secret hideaways for
government officials in the event of nuclear war,  crowd control during large
scale riots, stashes of food supplies in case of famine...
Most Pacifica radio stations have programs detailing these schemes.  Are they
true?  Maybe its just paranoia? Ask Them.

Speaking of Pacifica, they ran a series of revisionist history shows that I
think was titled UNCLE SAM AND THE SWASTIKA.  These were elaborately detailed
accounts of corporate dealings between German and US companies before during
and after the war.  If I remember correctly, they also tried to document
collusion between parts of our government with the Nazis.  They made some
interesting points.  They were rather extreme though.  Of course, it
certainly brought GR to mind.

ps: I still have yet to find any generally available history book on GE.
Especially dealing with the war years.  GE is one of the largest US
corporations and one of the most influential with a history going back to
Edison.  Can it be that no one has wanted to write a book on them?  Has GE
tried to discourage books about itself?  Maybe I'm not looking in the right
places?  Anyone with any info?
