Regarding the discussion of "political" and "apolitical" writers-what 
about Beckett (or even Joyce- bloom farting is about how deeply political 
Ulysses is seems to me).  Good ole Sam-who is more apolitical than him?  
Does a writer have to be 'political" to be worthy is my question.
