Andrew Dinn responds:
I have only read `Mumbo Jumbo' but I would also go so far as to call
it `stunning' and in many ways very Pynchon-like.

Is she the one who wrote about rock life-forms changing in time-frames
(deltas) of geological proportions?

Yes, also author of ANGEL DANCE, a nice (though not great) attempt to do
a radical Chicana lesbian as hard-boiled detective, about two decabes
(decades, that is) before the current spate of female hard-boiled
detectives. She also has some kind of book about alternative communal
life that I haven't read, but have always wondered if it might connect
to the Counterforce and/or 24fps in VINELAND.
And what about that David Shetzline, her once-husband? Did he o.d. on
Oneirine (sp?) or is he still around?
