[Michael Wilkes]

Does the name Wanda Tinasky ring any bells?  Tinasky is supposedly an old 
homeless Jewish woman that lives under a bridge somewhere in Mendocino County.  
She wrote a series of letters to the editor of the Anderson Valley Advertiser up 
there in Bonneville. Certain stylistic and chronological similarities between 
Tinasky and Pynchon suggest that this Tinasky may be Pynchon writing under
