Also, on Ellis, I think we must note that not only "psychopathology" 
of the character turned off readers.  I wonder how the book would have 
been received sans the blatant misogynistic feel.  Sorry to turn that 
whole bit on its head, (no pun) but I do wonder about that.  Because I 
agree that Ellis' book was most likely satiric, but I could not get past 
the misogyny to read the thing.
