It was Henry Roth. I never read all of it (so far back I'm not sure I ready
*any* of it), but interesting this should come up at the time of anothr
thread on long-delayed masterpieces. If I'm not mistaken, Roth came up with
a new novel just last year--over 50 years after "Call It Sleep."
