The shift from pre-WW1 to post-WW1 spying practice, chronicled in V
(and in GR, to a lesser extent) seems to somewhat mirror (anticipate?)
the cold war.

Question: The chapter in V dealing with the German genocide of the
Hereros in Namibia (my own home country) is one of the most potent
engagements with colonialism I have come across. Does anyone know of
any specifically 'postcolonial' (theoretical) engagements with
Pynchon? I'd appreciate some references.

Thanks
