Sorry not to have specifics on this one, but I'm sure someone
on the list will know the details: There was a 20th century
diarist who led a completely undistingushed life--no fame, no
"major accomplishments" whatever those might be--and yet this
person managed to fill litterally scores of volumes with
literally millions of words on his mundane life. A selection
from these diaries was published after his death (past 10
years, perhaps?). Doesn't the editor who whittled down this
plotless heap of quotidian recollection deserve the award?
