This is the guy who did "The Cook, the Thief..." and "Prospero's Books"
is it not?
I know this is way off-topic, but can anyone out there explain
"Prospero's Books" to me! A couple of years ago my wife and I picked it
up at the video store, thinking that it looked interesting and in light
of the fact that we liked "The Cook, the Thief...". We were going to
watch it while eating dinner but about all of two minutes into it we
looked at each other and we both realized that we weren't going to be
able to eat and watch at the same time...and there weren't even subtitles!
Visually, I found the film utterly intriguing, but I've utterly no idea
what I was watching.
