Infinite heliotropism

I haven't been very attentive to this heliotropical
thread, just enough for the word to jump out at me
last night from the pages of Infinite Jest (sorry):

  "The whole Thanksgiving table inclined very
  subtly toward Avril, very slightly and subtly,
  like heliotropes."

It's a a good way of describing the Moms.

Incidentally, anyone know if that DFW list ever
materialized?
