Pynchon Dream

Last night I had a dream that I was attending a history class being
taught by Thomas Pynchon. Throughout I wondered whether the others in my
class were there for the same reason. When the teacher entered I was
afraid to see the face of the man I had come to fear/adore in some way.
He had fair-colored hair, wore WWI pilot goggles with the flaps covering
parts of his face and behind his head. His lecture consisted of a large
red bottle of wine, cheeses which tasted or looked like sweets which he
cut into a piece for each of us including my brother who was a cat, and
some old preterite who kept babbling about something till I had to yell
to get'em to shut up which I thought was mighty bad karma. Anyway, there
was no sense or topic of the class, just the teacher moseying up and down
the rows asking us silly little questions about God knows what. I then
preceded to do some rather strange things looking for my cat within a
young girls bed somewhere in Indonesia but I'll spare you the details of
that...
