Just started it.  So far it seems clever (a little self-consciously so), and 
Wallace has a good ear for varieties of colloquial speech , but it's too 
soon to tell if the book will yield more than short-term amusement.  So far 
my biggest chuckle has been the character name Judith Prietht (but then I'm 
a perennial sophomore when it comes to humor).
