It's not too late if we start planning IMMEDIATELY to celebrate
the publication of TRP's MASON & DIXON in an appropriately 
bizarre fashion.  My proposal?  A human chain of Pynchon fans
(one p-lister every x miles as sturdy guidepost) along the
entire Mason-Dixon line!!!  As in a charity walkathon, we could
even solicit supporters who would pay $$$ per minute for whatever
period the line cohered, said money to be donated to a worthy
cause.  Perhaps an orthodontics fund for struggling writers
concerned about their teeth.....
