Perhaps Brian McHale, of U of WV, could find us cheap lodging in Morgantown,
which is situated at the border of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, just a
short distance from Maryland. (Or are there M&D line dwellers among list
members?) I could ask him if you think it is a good idea. The first weekend
in May (3-4) would suit *me* the best. Moreover, we could be relatively sure
about the novel being available at that time, and celebrate Somebody's 60th
birthday (on Thu the following week) simultaneously. But if majority would
like to celebrate at the exact time of publication in April, I'd try to adjust.
