Whatever that means. BUT:

She does have the right to call herself whatever she wants. Just so everyone
is clear on this:

Just because you expect a woman to safegaurd herself against the horrors of
everyday life like any man should, DOES NOT MEAN that you blame her when
tragedy hits. Only a pure idiot would say or believe such a thing (and I know
there are some out there, but I haven't seen any on this list). For the
record, I'm not really interested in Diana York Blaine's advice on pertinent
works on feminism because I've done plenty of reading on the issue nor do I
feel the need to get the rundown on her estimations of other scholars theses
or dissertations. I'm here to talk about Pynchon and whatever else pops up,
but with people who don't knee-jerk whenever some of their deeply-considered
ideas are discussed and maybe disposed of.

This list is the most vibrant community I've ever jumped into but let's be
civil or I'm going to start cussing online (That always seems to piss people
off).

MASCARO said it best: Everybody lighten up. Everybody is a little full of
shit from Paglia to Judith Butler to Derrida to Diana York Blaine. Let's try
not to take it too seriously, eh?

Peace pals,
