It's always struck me as intriguing that Hippocratic temperament was used in
classifying the dogs, since, as far as I know, it had fallen out of fashion
by the early 19th century.  Is it a dig at the Pavlovians - that they're
using a scheme that's as dead as phlogiston theory?
