I hadn't read any Robbins before I read Vineland. In fact I think I had
reread Vineland before Robbin's Cowgirl novel. The reason I even picked
up the Robbin's was because of TRP's blurb on the back.

Then as I'm reading away I come across a decription of a prairie and what
a beautiful word it was. Immediately I thought of Vineland's Prairie and
felt sure there was a connection.
