One of the duo's contemporaries (more of less) might DISAPPROVE.
Seem to remember something in Benjamin Franklin's autobiography about
the avoidance of too much VENERY. Or was it Poor Richard's Almanac?

Nice old-fashioned word. Nothing anyone would think of avoiding today. :-)
