Vesuvio (Hmm, another of those Vs) is the place I was trying to remember
the name of. I'd forgotten about that little alley and now remember about
"The Saloon" I think. Ah, sweet memories!
I believe City Lights (and maybe Vesuvio too) was owned by one of the
famous Beat poets, Ferlingetti. Or did F. precede even the Beats?
