Actually, I was just thinking of the effect the new tel-com act might
have on the Pynchon list. Considering that the new bill is so amazingly
restrictive on such a broad set of things, and that even some of the
pulitzer prize judges called it "obscene", isn't it plausible that
discussing it over the internet might be considered illegal? It seems all
to likely, considering that the tel-com act also makes it a crime to even
mention abortion among other things. Think I might get sent to jail
for putting the word "coporophilia" in my posts? And on PGP, the best
place to get it from is M.I.T.
