I had assumed that the point of the Tarantino/Pynchon/Baker thing was not to
compare the last two as equals but rather to take a swip at Quentin.  The 
validity of Tarantino-bashing depends upon how much of a purist you are, 
but, in the spirit of thibngs, I guess Fritz Lang is to QT as P is to B.
