To "take cash" is a common way of conducting a quick business deal. That's 
what _I_ hear in Takeski.

And, though I'm a bit embarassed to say it, Fumimota becomes
"for my mother".
 
Especially if you grew up in Brooklyn or have seen a lot of Tony
Curtis movies.

Don't know if Pynchon could have picked up a knowledge of
the Japanese language along the way. I've never heard it said.
