This is the TRP list after all but one more mention of DFW-saw his 
reading on Sunday with a coupla buddies (NYT Magazine was there with 
pics)-thankfully he read bits I had already read (being on p. 300 now).  
The KGB bar did mention (were they kidding?) a TRP book-alike contest for 
sometime in the future before the speakers spoke (The first guy proved 
that the actual literal writing of the Warren Commission Report was 
written none other than an ex-historian of the the Third Reich (hitler's 
own) before Wallace's dazzle).  I think this is the first really big book 
where I'm getting alot of the literary parallels-Gaddis (there's a great 
party scene ala The Recognitions-no I don't think David's there), Pynchon 
(he's everywhere), Dostoevsky (I'm thinking Hal (Ivan), Mario (Misha), 
Orin (Dimitri)), et. al. but really want to finish before boring everyone 
here with others.  IJ brings back some bad shit also...in the chemical 
sense
